Hello, and welcome to Gloucestershire Welcomes Breastfeeding.
This is a brand new scheme that aims to make it easier for mums to recognise places where they can breastfeed their babies confidently and in comfort when they are out and about. It’s open to all businesses – from pubs, to cafes, to shops, to hairdressers.
Most businesses in Gloucestershire do provide a comfortable and relaxed environment in which to breastfeed. By visiting a local business that is registered with the scheme, you can support their commitment to Gloucestershire’s mothers and babies. And you can be sure that you are welcome to breastfeed your baby in any area that is open to the general public.
